We keep hearing different rumors about what exactly led to the postponement of Adele’s Las Vegas residency, and the latest speculation falls on her relationship with Rich Paul.
“There’s trouble in paradise,” a source tells the “New York Daily News.” “That’s why she can’t perform.”
Insiders say her personal issues with Rich were overshadowing her rehearsals, that she spent time sobbing through them, and interrupting rehearsals for calls with Rich.
And one source suggests she may cancel the residency all together. “There are rumblings that there are stresses related to Adele’s relationship. I’m told that these stresses caused her to be in a place where she was just not confident moving forward,” Scott Roeben, the Las Vegas-based journalist for Casino.org, said. “You can’t focus if you’re not where you need to be in your head.”
ONE MORE THING! Adele was expected to perform at next month’s Brit Awards, but she’s now reportedly pulled out of the event. A source claims organizers are now “scrambling to find alternative arrangements,” and are even trying to see if she can perform via video. The insider notes, “”It’s a massive headache but they want her involved in any way she will agree.”
