Spicoli + Meg interview Tom Sandoval of Vanderpump Rules

Spicoli

Yo! It’s Jason Spicoli. I’m an Omaha native, a husband, a proud dad of two boys, and in a complicated relationship with the Huskers.

I’ve had the pleasure to rock the mic in the morning for over 20 years.

If you’re into live music, muscle cars, sports, cold drinks, comedy, coffee, radio, staying active (both physically and mentally), crushing your kids in a game of UNO, and own way too many pairs of shoes, you’re my person.

It’s an absolute honor to be with you in the morning on Sweet 98.5!

Meg

You know when you meet a middle child and you’re like, “Oh, yeah, they’re definitely a middle child?” So, that’s Meg.

As an Omaha native, Meg is a proud graduate of UNO. She’s a diehard fan of the Huskers and all Pittsburgh pro teams, even the bad ones. Her teams are, in fact, her identity and affect her mood. She has amazing parents, siblings, and the best niece and says it’s never a dull moment when her family is all together, which is often!

Meg has been in radio since she was still living with her parents, which was kind of a long time ago? She definitely has her own place now, which includes her spicy, yet sweet kitty cat Prudence.

Oh, and by the way, she’s Italian and promises to never shut up about that fact. Thoughts and prayers to Spicoli and Kris for their hearing and sanity.

Kris

Kris (aka Producer Kris) produces Spicoli + Meg Mornings.

The North Omaha native graduated from Benson High and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, respectively, and considers himself an anime nerd, a pro wrestling fan, and a diehard gamer.

As a child, Kris knew he didn’t want a regular 9-5 job. So, he tried his hand at acting, comedy, film making, and television before deciding that radio was where his heart is.

Kris grew up listening to Power 106.9, Sweet 98.5’s sister station, and dreams of one day becoming an on air personality on a pro wrestling show.

Until that dream becomes a reality, he’s happy bringing joy to Sweet 98.5’s listeners and takes pride in being what he considers the best traffic reporter in the Omaha Metro.
