Elon Musk is answering a call (actually, very literally, a TWEET) from Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister to get involved as swaths of Ukraine are without access to the internet while Russia invades.
Saturday at 6AM, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister, who also serves as Ukraine’s minister of digital transformation, tweeted at Elon:
Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route.

Starlink is a network of about 2,000 satellites in low earth orbit that provide high-speed broadband internet by connecting with user terminals around the globe.
