Kari Wilson is a Top Teacher with Nikki & Spicoli Mornings!
Kari works with 25 students in the Westside Young Adult Transition Program and it is pretty obvious why she’s deserving of the title.
Here’s the nomination that landed Kari a Top Teacher award:
I am currently a student teacher and Kari has taught me so much about how to be a great Special Education Teacher! She teaches 18-21 year old students with various disabilities in the Westside Young Adult Transition Program. We teach students a variety of skills and knowledge that will prepare them for life as an adult. She does a wonderful job not only teaching our students, but also taking care of medical needs, coordinating job experiences at local businesses, and being there for the students emotionally during a crucial time as they prepare for life after graduation. She regularly goes above and beyond for all her students and is well deserving to be Sweet 98.5’s Top Teacher!
