“This is Melissa’s 1st year at Betz elementary As a full time teacher she recently moved from being a para that helped students in Council Bluffs and Bellevue to being a full blown 1st grade teacher. She is the epitome of a teacher who loves and cares for her students above all else. For Christmas this year she asked for gifts for her classroom and not for herself. And the best part is she doesn’t restrict her teaching and kindness to children in the classroom but to any she comes into contact with.”
