Sweet 98.5

The Big Ten Conference has announced future football opponents for each program through the 2028 season.

The league had announced previously announced new scheduling matchups to include UCLA and USC, but since then further expanded to add Oregon and Washington. As with the previous schedule, the model ensures that all 18 schools play each conference opponent at least twice—one home and one away—in the five-year period.

Nebraska keeps Iowa as a protected annual matchup. The Huskers and Hawkeyes have met on Black Friday since NU joined the league in 2011. Nebraska will face eight teams twice in the five-year cycle and eight opponents three times, in addition to that annual Heroes Game with Iowa.

In 2024, Nebraska will host Illinois, Rutgers, UCLA and Wisconsin and travel to Indiana, Iowa, Ohio State, Purdue and USC. Specific dates will be announced later this fall.

The full list of home and away matchups through 2028, and a breakdown of the number of times Nebraska faces each Big Ten program, is below.
