Why does your teacher deserve to be Top Teacher: Ms. Boje truly saved my life. My home life was never good and I was truly at my lowest of lows until I came to Boys Town. Not caring about anything. Struggling with suicidal ideation and self-harm and very much not caring what I did or if I lived. And when I walked in to Ms. Bojes class a year ago gave me a new perspective on life. She made me want to live my life and she taught me how to breathe my own breath again. Ms. Boje showed me that my education is my power and is my key to success in the future. I never thought about college till now. I went from a 2.0 GPA to a 4.0 within a few months. Ms. Boje and I can talk about cats or Shakespeare and she helps me still navigate through my English classes today. I know she is there for me whether I need to talk or if I want a piece of gum. She is the most loving person I have ever met. Her and my mom are tied for favorite English teachers because my mom is one too.
