Nebraska kick returner Kenneth Williams was named Big Ten Co-Special Teams Player of the Week. The Lincoln High graduate returned the second half kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, the first Cornhuskers kickoff return for a touchdown since 2017. That long return came on two weeks after an 85-yard return against Maryland. Williams now leads the nation, averaging 34.7 yards per kickoff return. Williams shared the award with Rutgers kicker Jai Patel. Williams is the first Husker earn Big Ten special teamer of the week honors since punter Brian Buschini last season.
