(Did we ever really stop though?)
We’ve been watching the calendar and circling dates that add up to 13 like maniacs and it finally happened.
Taylor Swift has CONFIRMED (no more rumors about the next album…for now, at least) that her re-recorded version of ‘Red’ is coming in November.
“Red (Taylor’s Version)” will be available on November 19 and will have *30 SONGS* including a 10-minute track.
Like, WE KNOW which one that is, right? She’s previously confirmed its existence.
Taylor said, “Musically and lyrically, “Red” resembled a heartbroken person. Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators.”
Taylor Swift announced in 2019 that she would be re-recording her “Big Machine” albums in order to gain control of her masters. You remember the story.
1. I want to know what Jake’s first thought was.
2. THIS VERSION of WANEGBT OWNS MY HEART. Crossing fingers some of this inspo makes it on the re-record.
Oh, and the announcement dropped Friday, June 18th (Scooter Braun’s birthday).
Ya love to see it.
