Omaha Back to School Backpack Program
Summer is in full swing, but back-to-school season is around the corner! Starting June 30, help local kids gear up for success through the Salvation Army 7 Can Help Kids Backpack Program.
Since 1998, the community has come together to donate more than 250,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for children in need.
From June 30 to August 3, drop off new school supplies at participating Methodist Health System and Metro Credit Union locations, Cubby’s Convenience Stores, or Salvation Army sites.
School supplies needed:
- Backpacks
- Rulers
- Spiral notebooks
- Erasers
- Glue
- Crayons
- Colored pencils
- Theme paper
- Two-pocket folders
- Pens
- Pencils
- Reusable water bottles
- Hand sanitizer
- Tissues
